Our chapter Advisors are a huge asset to our active chapter. Most advisors are past Beta Sigma members, employees at Texas Tech, or resource advisors from the Lubbock community. Their mix of connections and Beta Sigma knowledge help the chapter stay streamlined in the core principles of Alpha Phi Omega.
Carlos Favela, chair of advisory
Carlos graduated from Texas Tech University in 2012. He pledged Alpha Phi Omega in the fall of 2007 as apart of the Jack Jadel pledge class. Carlos thinks that APO is a great organization that will allow you to develop your skills as leader, make long lasting friendships, and provide a wide range of community service opportunity.
Sarah graduated from Texas Tech University in 2018. She pledged Alpha Phi Omega in the fall of 2016 as apart of the Heismeyer pledge class. Sarah says that APO shaped her into the leader and friend that she is today. It allowed her to find herself through serving and loving others!
JOhn Mark Bernal
John Mark Bernal graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999. He pledged Alpha Phi Omega in the spring of 1997 as apart of the Anita Bass pledge class. My advice is to be as active as you can during your time in APO and find a way to leave your mark on the organization. You will meet some of your best friends in APO and this organization can and will set you up for success if you allow it. There are so many great connections by being involved in APO and by choosing to be a servant leader you are already making a choice to make that difference in the community. APO is truly what we are taught it to be: Leadership, Friendship & Service! Wreck ‘Em!!!
